Bottle Buddies
-Styrofoam Ball (Large enough to be a head on top of a 2 liter bottle 4 or 5 inches in diameter) (send $2.50 ASAP and I will order the styrofoam balls in bulk online)
I have some basic supplies here such as yarn (lots of yarn left from last year), glue, some paint, popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, foam stickers, googlie eyes, buttons, construction paper, and basic office supplies.
- Material ideas:(some items may be listed twice.. sorry.... I copied and pasted from sources online) 2 liter clear soda bottle dirt, sand, or rocks to fill bottle 1/4 full glue scissors fabric for clothing yarn/string for hair paint or markers buttons/sequins feathers pipe cleaners Styrofoam ball for head (I can order these in bulk and you can send in $2) Craft wiggly eyes... or Felt Squares to make facial features Clothing: Felt or cloth (Goodwill, old t-shirt) Paint (Skin Color of person) Hair (Yarn, hair) **IDEA: Goodwill barbies or dolls hair can be cut off! Eyes Item that person can hold that represents them. Beads/ Jewelry
The plan is to bring the materials you would like to use to create the bottle and make them in class beginning Monday, Tuesday the 26th and we will create the bottles over two days on Wednesday and Thursday ( 12th. Check the colored list above to see if I already have it here. I don't want you to spend money if you don't have to. This could really be a free to make project except for the styrofoam head.
